Rottweiler's are our passion here at JW Rottweiler's. We would like to share the loyalty and compassion that we have found in our Rottweiler's. We have owned and bred rottweilers since we were young adults and have taken years to find the best lines to bring into our breeding program. We want only the best of the best. It is important to us that they have excellent conformation as well as solid even temperaments

Rottweiler: The Rottweiler is calm, devoted, obedient, compassionate and eager to work. They are a gentle, good natured breed that makes them great family pets. Rottweiler's are highly intelligent and are loyal. Their large, strong bodies and alertness make them excellent guard and protection dogs.

History: The Rottweiler is considered one of the oldest herding breeds. This Rottweiler's lineage dates back to the Roman Empire. Most historians believe this breed descended from drover dogs used by the Romans to herd livestock. Over centuries the Rottweiler has been used as ambulance, messenger, guard & Police dogs. The Rottweiler breed was first recognized by the AKC in 1931 and grouped as Working.

Health: The average life expectancy is between 8 – 12 years. Rottweiler's are a relatively healthy breed. With its large size the Rottweiler is prone to hip and elbow dysplasia. Other health concerns in this breed are:

• Cancer

• Panosteitis

• Heart Failure

• Skin Disease

Our puppies are handled from birth. We stay with our mothers during birth to watch over and assist when needed. Puppies are raised indoors, handled daily and socialized with children. Puppies are bred for conformation, intelligence and temperament. They will have short muzzles, nice blocky heads, heavy bone structures and awesome temperaments!!! Puppies will come current on vaccinations, deworming's, microchip, AKC papers, contract, health guarantee and lifetime breeder support. Tails will be docked unless requested on... Puppies are raised in our home with lots of love and socialization!!!

Our goal in our program is to improve on what we like to see in our dogs.... Big Beautiful Heads, Dark, Rich mahogany markings, black mouth pigment, Big Bones with Excellent temperament, and excellent Health and Hips. Because we play and socialize our dogs on a daily basis, they are well adjusted with people especially kids and well socialized with their environment.
